Ms. Kane’s 4th/5th grade class recently “adopted” Amelia, a calf from MacGlaflin Farm in Claremont, NH, through the Discover Dairy program. Although Amelia didn’t take home the title of America’s Favorite Cow, she certainly won the hearts of many here at Barnard! The class will receive weekly updates on Amelia as she grows and matures into a full-grown cow, learning all about farm life, dairy production, and animal care along the way.
